Hameed Haroon the CEO of the country’s most prestigious news group has come up with the response, he denied all the allegations leveled against him by the director and filmmaker Jamshed Mahmood ‘Jami’. The denial came late on Monday.
In his statement, Haroon said, “I categorically deny the allegation of rape leveled against me by Jami Raza. The story is simply untrue and intentionally fabricated“.
Haroon Hameed, who was accused by the filmmaker Jami of raping him 13 years ago announced to file a defamation suit against the artist. Haroon said that a legal action will be initiated against Jami for attempted defamation.
However, Jami has not come up with the response, also it still yet unclear, whether Jami would also be taking a legal action or not.
The statement added that the only occasion he had ever been to Jami’s house was to condole the death of his father many years ago.

Dawn, the well known newspaper, which is owned by Haroon has come up with a note from the editor, which states that an “independent inquiry” would be initiated by the organization against Hameed in this regard.
People on twitter have mixed opinion on social media, some are denying that a grown person would have resisted in case of any rape attempt. A lot of people are coming up with support and putting weight behind Jami.
Earlier, the filmmaker took to social media and revealed the name of his rapist. He tweeted on December 28 in which he said, Yes HAMEED HAROON Raped me. I’m ready now. R u ready to print this @dawn_com ?”
He further blamed Dawn of biasness and criticized them for not publishing his story.
He tweeted a few months back to reveal that he was raped by the “Why I am so strongly supporting #metoo? cuz i know exactly how it happens now, inside a room then outside courts inside courts and how a survivor hides confides cuz i was brutally raped by a very powerful person in our media world.
