It has always been debated upon on how much does high ranking govt officials earn including the Prime Minister. Although, these stats were not known for previous govts, this one has rather approached the matter with transparency. An official salary slip has been revealed showing PM Khan’s monthly earning managing the country. It has give quite the stir to twitter as it shows quite the surprising findings.
According to the slip, PM Khan earns the following:
- Rs. 107,280 in terms of basic salary,
- Rs. 50,000 as a sumptuary allowance,
- Rs. 21,456 in ad hoc relief allowance,
- Rs. 12,110 in ad hoc allowance under 2011 contract
- Ad hoc relief of Rs. 10,728.
This sums up to be a gross salary amount of Rs. 201,574, which further reduces to Rs. 196,979 after tax and other deductions.
So here’s the surprising part, the Ministers of PM Khan earn more than him! Yes, you read it right.
Fawad Chaudhary was asked what did the ministers earn? To which he replied:
Minister ki Tankhaw 3,45,000 hai 90 hazar house rent jata hai so 2 lakh 55 hazar miltay hein
(Minister’s income is 3,45,000, house rent Is 90,000 so the remaining amount is 2,55,000)
Quite the shock, right? Knowing the our PM Khan earns less than these ministers seems to be quite wild. This should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
