Govt announced Eid ul Fitr holidays. The holy month of Ramadan is about to end, and Muslims around the world would begin preparing for Eid-ul-Fitr. In this regard, Interior Ministry has also approved a four-day holiday in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to information, Eid holidays will start from June 15. A notice issued by the concerned ministry confirms holidays from June 15 to June 18. It means Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (4 days) will be off for Pakistanis.

Most countries including Pakistan stared the holy month of Ramazan in sync on May 17. The Markazi Ruet e Hilal Committee will begin to find Shawwal moon on 14th June. But, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department the chances for its sighting are very low.
The Meteorological Department anticipates the Shawwal moon to be sighted on June 14. Multiple parts of the country, however, may witness clouds and mist.
According to Meteorological Department the expected date of Eid-ul-fiter is June 16. As one of the official from Meteorological Department declare that there were slim chances of the Shawwal moon being sighted on the evening of June 14. As a result, Ramazan will complete its 30 days and Eid being marked on June 16 (Saturday) nationwide.
On the other hand, if the estimation proves wrong, Eid may be celebrated on June 15(Friday).
