Google voice search is now getting more better than before as it supports now 30 different languages from all around the globe, and most interestingly Urdu has also been introduced in this pack of 30 languages.
No doubt this addition of Urdu language in voice search engine, is a big deal because you can now speak in your native language and your phone will understand your language exactly. Google is going to assist you in making phone calls, pulling up search results, recipes and more by just your speaking commands in Urdu.
This became possible because the Voice Neural Machine Learning has been an area of continuous investment for Google, and their efforts will go a long way in popularizing voice-based commands to millions of speakers from lot many corners of the globe.

The newly supported languages include

5) English (Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania)

Availability
The new languages are available in Cloud Speech API and will be available in Gboard, Google Translate etc, You can use them by enabling Voice Search feature only.
Machine Learning
These languages were incorporated by using machine learning after feeding them the samples from local and native speakers of the languages.
Over time, Google’s accuracy and its ability to understand different languages have improved manifold while the machines were trained with the use of specific sounds and words from native speakers.
The languages that are being supported by Google include ancient languages like Gregorian, vastly spoken African languages, along with a variety of other languages, no doubt it is a great achievement for Google. Indian languages are dominating the list, showing Google’s interest in one of the most densely populated regions.
