A good chance for Pakistani students to apply in Google Women Techmakers Program 2018. Just like every field of life, women are getting their place in technology sector as well. To endorse this courage by women Google is inviting applications for its “Women Techmakers Program 2018.” in the field of Computer Sciences from women of Asia Pacific countries including Pakistan.
Initially, Women Techmakers Scholars program was started as a Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship Program however now they are expanding its vision of gender equality by accepting applications in the Computer Science department to support women in the field of science and technology.
Selection Criteria and Process
The scholarship will be given to a group of undergraduate and graduate students based on academic performance, leadership, and impact on the community of women in tech.
If you won the contest, you will get a scholarship amount and a chance to go to the annual Women Techmakers Scholars’ Retreat in one Google’s Asia Pacific offices in 2018. At the event, the winners will connect with fellow scholars, Google scholars and take part in a number of workshops.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply, applicant must be a female.
- At present, should be enrolled at an accredited university for the 2018-2019 academic year.
- All female students who are graduating in 2019 and after that are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Applicants should have a strong academic record.
- Applicants should have a great passion for an involvement of women in computer science.
