The first ever phone that came with the Snapdragon 712 was the Mi 9 SE. Interestingly enough, the phone also happens to be the only phone at the moment to still be powered by the chipset.
While the phone is without doubt a less powerful version of the Mi 9, the Mi 9 SE still comes with some pretty decent and impressive features which easily putit out in the premium upper mid-range category. The phone features with an AMOLED display, along with an In-display fingerprint scanner, all with an exquisite finish. The phone comes with a triple camera sensor on the rear – much similar to the Mi 9 SE, the difference being in the configuration.
Many were expecting that the Mi 9 SE too would be released only in China like its predecessor, the Mi 8 S, however, Xiaomi has officially confirmed today that the Mi 9 SE will indeed be available outside of China.

Though this does not come as news to many since third party retailers have already been selling a global version of the phone. The official confirmation from Xiaomi means that you will now be able to purchase the phone from Xiaomi or official distributors in your home country.
While Xiaomi hasn’t exactly revealed which countries will be getting it yet, this should be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Mi 9 SE packs a 5.97 inch 1080 x 2340 Super AMOLED waterdrop notched display being covered with Gorilla Glass 5. The Snapdragon 712 processor features with six gigs of RAM along with either 64 or 128 gigs of internal storage.
The phone features with a 3070mAh battery which also happens to support 18W fast charging, however this time around, Xiaomi does not actually include wireless charging within the phone. The device will be running Android Pie right out of the box.
