It seems a little pointless to stage an event after so many leaks. The Galaxy Unpacked event concluded about sixteen hours ago and it brought a plethora of devices to the already snazzy Samsung lineup.
Galaxy Fold: Firstly the all anticipated Galaxy Fold was released and although it’s price rocked my mind namely 1980 USD (276,705 PKR!) but its specifications justify its luxury price point. It comes with the usual specifications of Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s One UI. It has a whopping 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage as well as a 4380 mAh battery. Its fold for now seemed seamless and the device seemed to be good in functionality although nothing can be said until the actual reviews come along. The presentation for this was not as big and lasted 20 minutes or so. It will be available from April 26th. The Fold comes with 6 total cameras three on the rear, three on the front.( if it’s clear what the back and front really are)
The S10 Models: The main flagships were unveiled with the leaked models and specifications being exact. The S10e came with a 5.8 inch flat Dynamic AMOLED and Infinity Display as well as a 3100 mAh battery the same was with the S10 and S10+ with the same Dynamic AMOLED displays with an Infinity-O display and curved edges as well as 3400 and 4100 mAh batteries respectively. Speaking of the Dynamic AMOLEDs they are the new displays Samsung is using succeeding following the Super AMOLEDs the Dynamic AMOLEDs claim to have a brightness level of 1200 nits! However what really rocked us was that the S10+ had a variant with 12GB of RAM but that’s not the exciting part it was paired with about 1 TB of internal storage! Now that is computer level storage, the S10 received normal applause but really the S10e got us viewers interested as it offered the same display(almost) as well as processor and only really compromised on a few things. Speaking of which all three phones can charge another phone wirelessly at 9W which is more than Huawei’s 2.5W reverse wireless charging on its Mate20 Pro. The company really did what it claimed to be able to do at the start of the presentation which was to “lay the groundwork for years of innovation. Except for Canary Yellow which was exclusive to S10e Prism Black, Prism White, Prism Green and Prism Blue while the S10+ had two additional premium colours Ceramic White and Ceramic Black. The Galaxy S10 5G was revealed near the end and had almost the same specs but 5G and a 6.7 inch display as well as a 4500 mAh battery.

The S10 and S10+ come with three rear cameras while the E model comes with two the S10e has a fingerprint scanner on its power button while both high-end versions have in display ultrasonic scanners. The cameras have been hyped a lot for being professional grade cameras; we’ll see how that’ll pan out.
Other:
The Galaxy Watch Active and the Galaxy Fit are the two new wearables for this year along with the Galaxy Buds of course which came with Adaptive Dual Microphones , not going into too much detail the Buds will be sold with first few Galaxy Fold orders, plus they can be wirelessly charged by the S10 models. The Galaxy Watch Active and Fit are both sports intensive wearables and the Galaxy Fit is leaned towards being more lightweight and furthermore all products can be charged from S10 model’s backs. Furthermore there was a lot of emphasis on the dawn of 5G with the Galaxy Fold and S10 having a 5G version.
