Galaxy Note 10 may feature with ultra-fast wired and wireless charging

The stage is set for Samsung to reveal its upcoming flagship device – the Galaxy Note 10. As we near the event set to take place on the 7th of August, more and more details along with photos of the devices that will feature in the Note 10 series are making their way online. The latest development concerns the Plus model of the devices, posted by WinFuture.

The things revealed do not contradict what was reported previously. Indeed the latest developments suggest that the Note 10 will feature with a 6.8-inch display – in a form factor which will be quite similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung has been making progress into the shrinkage of bezels along with a more efficient design – which goes on to allow for a bigger screen which ideally won’t prove to be an unbearable strain on the hands of the users.

One of the differences between the Plus and the non-Plus model will be that only the former will come with a microSD slot – this too according to WinFuture’s report. It has also been reported that neither of the two devices will feature with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As far as new features are concerned, the Korean manufacturer also plans on to make leaps into charging speed. Such progress will likely enable the Note 10 and the Note 10 Plus to charge up to 45 watts when plugged in and at 20 watts when placed on Samsung’s upcoming wireless charger. Speaking of the battery side of things, the Plus model of the two devices will feature with a 4300mAh battery. It has also been reported that with Samsung’s PowerShare feature – which allows users to wirelessly charge another device with Samsung’s latest phones, will not be able to put out 15W – which will make it much more useful for charging up headphones or even other phones.

Back to the specs though : the Plus model will be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus or Samsung’s very own 7nm Exynos 9825 – this will of course depend upon the region. The device will feature with a triple camera setup, consisting of a 12MP standard, 16MP ultra-wide and finally, a 12MP telephoto lens as well. The main camera will also be capable of switching between three aperture choices : f/1.5, f/1.8, or indeed f/2.4.
