The existence of the Galaxy Fold was finally confirmed by Samsung at an unpacked event which was held on the 20th of February. The device indeed made history, becoming the Korean manufacturer’s first ever foldable device with a flexible display. Before the launch, the device was also certified by China’s Communication Commission (3C) – with this indicating that the device will indeed be sold in China.
Earlier in the week, the phone was also certified by TENAA, and the relevant listing has also gone to reveal some of the specs that the device might come with. While the incomplete info isn’t of much substance, there has indeed been further proof that the device will indeed be available in China – and that too, soon.
The TENAA listing reveals that the phone will run Android Pie right out of the box, will have five cameras, and will have a battery worth 4275mAh.As of now, there aren’t any images available, and neither is there any suggestion of the dimensions with regards to the listing, nor are there any color variants listed. There also is no info available in the RAM or storage configuration.

The Galaxy Fold has two displays – a 4.6-inch (840 x 1960), while there exists a 7.3-inch (1536 x 2152) flexible display on the inside – when unfolded! The phone gets its juice from the Snapdragon 855 processor, with 12 gigs of RAM and 512 gigs of UFS 3.0 storage.
There exist two cameras right above the flexible display – a 10MP f/2.2 sensor along with an 8MP f/1.9 sensor : with both of these cameras acting as the selfie ones. On the rear, we have a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.4 aperture, this paired with a 12MP wide-angle camera with a variable aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4) which also has OIS. The third and final sensor is a 16MP ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. There also exists a 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera present above the smaller display (when it is folded).
