Samsung has been putting in a lot of work in its more affordable Galaxy A-series, as the Korean manufacturer revamped the series with smartphones just earlier in the year. Amongst the series is offered the Galaxy A10 – which is amongst the more mid-range offerings based in the series. Now, there has been a variant of the device which has just popped up on Geekbench, and it featured with some very interesting specs. The Galaxy A10e (coming with the model number SM-A102U) will feature with Android Pie right out of the box.
One thing to note here would be that Samsung has a habit of using the -e suffix with a device to show that it is more cheaper and less powerful when compared with the normal version. This has been the case for both the Galaxy A20e as well as the Galaxy S10e, and it will most probably be what we see on the upcoming A10e. However, interestingly enough, it doesn’t seem that the Galaxy A10e lacks too much when compared with the A10 – especially if Geekbench has anything to say about it.

Here, the Galaxy A10e is listed to be running on the Exynos 7885 SoC, however, the clockspeed actually suggests that the phone is running on the more weaker Exynos 7884. What this means is that the Galaxy A10e has exactly the same SoC as the Galaxy A10. Not only this, but the A10e is also listed off as having two gigs of RAM – which too is the same as the Galaxy A10. As far as things go for internal storage, there is no information present over that at the moment.
Though we do know that the Galaxy A10e will support dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4Ghz, 5Ghz) and LTE capabilities. The phone will also come with all five key WiFi certificates a/b/g/n/ac. The phone will be running on the latest Android Pie, which is based on One UI.
