Xiaomi are looking all set and ready to step in to the world of 5G technology as the company are preparing there very own 5G version of there successful flagship, the Mi 9. Moreover the new phone will be called the Mi 9 5G and it will not just see the upgrade to a 5G modem, but the new device is ready to give userssome new features whichwill differentiate it from the regular Mi 9 model. TENAA has in turn revealed to us all and every aspect of the upcoming device. Earlier reports had already suggested that the resolution has not been changed. It is still 2340 x 1080 (FHD+) and not 2K, however that is not the case as the new device will get a AMOLED display in this one.
One of the other significant changes in the new device is probably the processor. The new phone will gain power from an octa-core chipset which has been clocked at an efficiency of 2.96GHz which we tells us the that the phone will have the addition of the Snapdragon 855+. TENAA lists three RAM variants 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB, with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage.

One of the factors which have remained constant is the camera setup . According to the listing main rear camera is a 48MP sensor but has notyet listed the othet two cameras in the back setup so we may see an improvement there as well! The front-facing camera also remains constant with a resolution of 20MP. The phone will also have 2x optical zoom like the LTE model.
The Mi 9 5G run the OS Android 9 Pie and will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will come with a battery capacity of 4000mAh. The battery capacity has been increased by 700mAh in this new version of the device and the battery will also support fast charging which previous reports say is 45W and not 27W like the previous model.
Furthermore, the exact launch date still remains to be unannounced by the company and we currently have no information on when the phone will launch but seeing as it already got approved by TENAA, you never know we may just see the company launch there first 5G device in the next couple of months.
