Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was adamant that the PTI government has not blocked Nawaz Sharif’s way to go abroad for better treatment, instead PTI gave Nawaz all the facilities that were required to keep him healthy, even the choice of a personal doctor. However, further deterioration of his health meant that he couldn’t stay in jail and therefore received bail on the grounds of receiving medical treatment outside Pakistan with his doctors claiming that all resources here were exhausted and that it was vital for him to go abroad to receive proper treatment.
It is funny sometimes to see, politicians develop health problems as soon as they are jailed and that seems to be the trend for all the politicians that have been recently sentenced to jail including Zardari and Maryam Nawaz.

PML N after receiving the bail for Nawaz Sharif also claimed that since Nawaz’s name was on the Exit Control List, he wasn’t able to get the required documents for travel. However, now PTI has clarified the matter that they are not involved in blocking Former PM from going abroad for medical treatment.
He stressed that the PTI government was not creating any hurdles for the former premier and, rather, was providing him the best health care. “He [Nawaz] can go wherever he wants for his medical treatment.”
Foreign Minister was also questioned regarding the health of Zardari, who also seems to have developed a problem when he was sentenced to jail. To this, Minister Mahmood Qureshi replied that it was necessary for PPP and Bilawal Bhutto to show medical proof to the government that Zardari needs medical attention which will not be possible if he is in jail and that would require bail. Regardless, no one should suffer from poor health and wishing a speedy recovery to those who are in serious health conditions.
