In accordance with what renowned Apple analyst Ming Chi has had to say in recent times, Apple may actually go on to launch five new iPhones next year.
The analyst has further commented on his claims by saying that instead of waiting for September, Apple will actually launch a device in the first half of the next year. Another analyst also joined in this conversation and while he did support what Ming Chi had to say, he said that such a strategy will not actually be embraced until 2021.
Regardless though, Kou suggests that Apple will launch the so-called iPhone SE 2 in the first half of next year. It is expected that the device will actually feature with a 4.7-inch display – which will be an LCD one. It has also been previously suggested that the iPhone SE 2 will have a design much similar to that of the iPhone 8, and will feature with an A13 chip along with three gigs of RAM.
This will then be followed by the launch of four new OLED iPhones from the company in the second half of the next year. In accordance with what Kuo has had to say, next year’s OLED iPhone lineup will consist of a 5.4-inch model, along with a 6.7 and a 6.1-inch model.

The analyst also says that all the high-end OLED models will feature with the luxury of 5G connectivity. And in order to facilitate this process, Apple may also possibly use Qualcomm’s X55 modem. It is also expected that the modem will be paired with the Snapdragon 865 SoC for 5G flagship phones that are set for the next year.
If applied, this will certainly be a bold strategy from the company. While these are all just rumors, the idea of an iPhone SE 2 might not be the worst in the world considering the success that Apple had with the SE.
