Even though the Samsung Galaxy S8 isn’t actually out yet, Samsung has already started to roll out an update for the phone, with the update leading to some quite significant improvements along with new features for the phone.
Probably the most notable part of the much talked about update is the new option to remap the Bixby button on Samsung’s latest flagship phone.
While we’ve known for quite some time now that this feature is coming, it is still great to see the Korean manufacturer wasting no time in giving the future S10 owners the option to swap out quick access to Bixby for pretty much any feature or app that they want.

We can hope that the promised Bixby remap option for the previous flagship phones, including the likes of the Galaxy S8, S9, and the other phones in the Galaxy S10 series follow soon after.
The update which will set users back 496MB also includes a boost in stability for the camera, an improved fingerprint sensor for the ultrasonic In-display sensor, general bug fixes, as well as Android’s February security patches.

In addition to all this, the update will also include a brand new feature called the Instagram Mode, which would give the camera app of the S10 the option to both take and share Instagram stories.
