So a department of the KPK government, the KP tourism department have officially launched the country’s first mobile phone application and a web portal which they have dubbed as KP tourism, in order to help and aid the many domestic and foreign tourists who wish to visit the beautiful and glorious northern areas of Pakistan. KP’s Senior Minister for Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Culture, Museums and Youth Affairs Atif Khan officially kick started the new application on Wednesday.
In addition to that PM Khan’s official special minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Chairman National Tourism Board Mr. Zulfi Bukhari was also present at the occasion of the launch ceremony of the tourism application. Atif Khan spoke with at the event and proudly said that“we have initiated the promotion of tourism in KP province through the mobile app and more projects are in pipeline that will help boost the sector”.

Moreover, he also told us that new PTI government is taking on steps for the tourism sector which will help attract over 10 million foreign tourists to the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the five year tenure of the PTI’s governance and if this can be made successful, this will in turn generate up to 10 billion dollars in revenue.
Furthermore, the special assistant Zulfi Bukhari said that the new mobile application launch is a big step forward in terms of promoting tourism in the province and on the bigger picture it is a step to improve tourismin Pakistan as a whole. The app will act as a guide for the various tourists and the contents of the applicationwill include all of the data related to the very beautiful valleys, high and glorious mountains, deserts, rivers, landscapes, roads, petrol pumps, rich cultural heritage and historicallocations, springs, waterfalls, streams, Buddhism ruins and serene spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The KPtourism app can downloaded for both the Android and iOS users and it will contain images of all the beautiful places theProvince and will no doubt help attract more tourists.
