Much to the credit of Facebook, there has been a constant string of updates that the company keeps on coming up with in an attempt to provide the users with a better experience. This doesn’t look to change anytime soon, evidence coming from the fact that just a few months ago, the company went ahead and announced that it has been working on a dedicated dark mode for its mobile app. Now, just recently, the company has begun the testing of its messenger dark mode, and hence, it can be seen that the rollout for the dark mode seems imminent.
Already enough, this feature has been introduced by many of the social media websites that we encounter with in our daily lives. While Facebook took a bit longer than expected to catch up, better late than never, right?

While at this moment of time we don’t exactly know what countries the testing of the feature is going on, according to the recent reports, we do actually know that this feature will soon enough make its way to all the users of the Facebook messenger.
Facebook messenger subject to experimentation
The dark mode for the Facebook messenger will be very similar to the other places it has been implemented. And if you don’t know what dark mode will do – it’ll go on to turn the previously-white background black, and in addition to this, the black text will also supposedly be switched to white in color. Furthermore, anything that is light gray will also be replaced by a darker tone – however, important to note is the fact that the colorful elements will actually remain completely unchanged, just like it was before the update.
