Soon You Will Experience Sound-emitting Technology With Samsung and LG phones. Though recently launched smartphones of Vivo –Vivo NEX and NEX Ultimate — from its NEX series are given several breakthrough innovations like elevating selfie camera and 91.24 per cent screen to body ratio the feature that could caught our intention was the Screen Sound Casting technology for delivery.
After having experienced that kind of inclusion in features of a smartphone, we have also spotted reports saying that sound-emitting displays are here to stay as not only Samsung but also LG seem to be considering the same for their upcoming flagships.
The sound-emitting display comes with a transmission bandwidth in the range of 100 & 800 Hz. It means that the users of this technology can hear the sound only when they place their ear on the top portion of the display of their phone.
As Vivo has already shown us that by utilising this technology it is possible to house a larger screen in a compact form factor, this time according to a South Korean publication, the alleged Galaxy S10 might come with the same 6.2″ display that is found on the Galaxy S9+ but this one will in a more compact body.

The sound emitting technology works somewhat like the existing bone-conduction audio technology. However, it could known only with the time when we are using this technology to confirm whether the audio from these displays is as clear as that from a conventional physical earpiece on smartphones.
It is also reported that the one of the top mobile phone brands LG already has the tech integrated into its Crystal Sound OLED TVs and LED lights.
In case the recent reports are true, the LG G8 is expected to come with a 4K LCD display and it is possible that LG might place the sound sensors under the display. However, everything is speculation at the time if this writing and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Last month the South Korean giant has already showcased its sound-emitting display concept at the Society of Information Displays (SID) 2018.
