Chinese smartphone maker OPPO is soon to release its phones coming from the F series, dubbed to be the F9 and F9 pro. Though there has been no confirmation of the release date by the company, nor has there been any confirmation of the features that the phones may or may not possess, there have been certain leaks in the past couple of days to showcase exactly what we can expect from the smartphones, as the leaks are near certain.
The company had been flirting around with the media, after it was confirmed that the F9 pro will be coming with VOOC flash charging support while new teasers hint at color options, and also a dual camera setup. The specifications of the OPPO F9 have been leaked all across the internet in all it entirety and it has also been pretty much confirmed that the smartphones will come with notches – which we have been accustomed to now with the release of latest smartphones, however, it is to be noted here that the notches present on these phones will be considerably smaller than those we have seen previously.
Coming from the latest teaser, we can see that the OPPO F9 pro will come with a dual camera setup, a fingerprint scanner present on the back of the phone, while the notch present on the phone will be quite similar to that of the Essential phone. The phone will support USB type C, which is not a surprise at all, and there is also good news for OPPO fans that as the company will not be getting rid of the headphone jack, as it will be present on the F9 Pro. I talked earlier about the VOOC flash charging support, and this teaser also gives a little bit on that particular aspect of the F9 Pro – VOOC flash charging is set to provide around 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging. Let’s also talk a little bit about the F9. Android Pure has leaked the specifications of the phone, and so we can have quite a big idea as to what we can expect from the phone. With accordance to the leak, the F9 will run Android oreo, sporting a 6.3 inch Full HD+ display, supporting dual Sim slots. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, with the option to further expansion via a memory card.
The F9 is expected to sport a dual camera setup, with a 16 megapixel sensor, with another 2 megapixel sensor with f/1.85 aperture at the back. On the front, there is likely to be a 20 megapixel camera, with f/2.0 aperture. On the other side of things, it is expected that the phone will pack a 3500 mAh battery.
Last but not least, reports further state that the F9 pro will feature corning gorilla glass 6 protection, however, its sibling, the F9 will not have the fortunes of such protection. As of now, there is no concrete news as to when exactly the phone will be released, or indeed the price tag it will carry, but we won’t be stripped of this knowledge for too long!
