If you happen to have an Oppo Find X in your possession – then I’ve got some exciting news for you. The Chinese manufacturer has now gone on to open up the testing for the ColorOS 6 early for all the users of the particular device. ColorOS 6 happens to be the latest version of the company’s long-running ColorOS Android skin, much like both Flyme as well as MIUI. And while many agree that the ColorOS has not ever been on the level that MIUI has or is, one wouldn’t doubt the fact that they’ve been improving.
The latest version of the ColorOS brings along a brand new design philosophy – a borderless design. And while this has been confirmed, it isn’t exactly clear as crystal what it means. Oppo has claimed though that there will be a big focus on lighter and eye-catching colors. In an attempt to make this work, not only have 3500 new colors been done so as to fit this new design philosophy, every app too has been redesigned in order to work with it.

Not to mention there are also a few new features to go along with everything. One of these features is TouchBoost– which essentially happens to be a performance mode – quite similar actually to what we find on gaming phones. Then there’s also FrameBoost – a feature which has the capabilities to intelligently improve “frame rate stability” on devices. In addition to all this, there also happens to be a new Breeno voice assistant along with a monitoring mode which would go a long way in helping parents track what their children do on the internet.
It seems great, doesn’t it? And so if you have an Oppo Find X in your possession, all you have to do is go to your phone’s update page in order to register. Opening the menu on the top right should indeed give you the option to participate in the update.
