Dubai SCB allows you to pay traffic fines in installments. Standard Chartered Bank has signed an MoU with the Dubai Police and has permitted the motorists of Dubai to use their credit cards to pay their traffic fines in installments, but the only condition to avail this facility is to have an account with Standard Chartered Bank.
The bank is set to provide an interest-free service to its customers. The customers can opt for a period of 3, 6, 9 or even 12 months to pay the traffic fine amount.
This newly signed MoU is the outcome of the ongoing strategy of Dubai Police to provide integrated financial solutions to individuals and companies.
Dubai Police has also signed similar kind of agreements with other firms to let the motorists pay their traffic fines in installments using their credit cards.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the General Department of Finance and Standard Charted Bank. The MoU is in line with the Dubai Smart City initiative as this initiative promotes the use of digital services.

Previously, The General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the First Abu Dhabi Bank regarding a new service allowing traffic fines payments in installments.
This memorandum aiming at making it easier for the public to pay their fines was signed by Major General Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, the Director-General of Finance and Services in AD Police, and Shobhit Sethi; VP & Head of Cards Portfolio. According to this memorandum, FAB bank clients would be able to pay their traffic fines using their credit cards.
