A report on Monday was released bythe Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) which reportedly claims that the digital platforms in this case Google and Facebook “favor their own business interest” through their market power and presence and have no regard for the privacy of their many consumers.

So in the report, a total of 11 recommendations were aimed towards reducing Facebook and Google’s market power in general.
