The latest speculation states that the next year’s Galaxy S11 series will bring about some very impressive upgrades and if the rumors are to be believed, next years flagship S-series from Samsung will be quite impressive. Previously though, it was suggested that the upgrades that the S11 would bring with it will primarily focus on the camera department – however, the latest batch of rumors indicate that Samsung will also be focusing on major improvements in the battery department.
There has been a discovery by some folks down at the Galaxy Club who have recently discovered a listing for a new Samsung battery that comes with the model number EB-BG980ABY based on the Korean manufacturer’s Safety Korean website. What the battery number suggests is that it will be used in an upcoming Samsung device with the model number of G980. There is very good chance that the Galaxy S11e will be featuring with the model number SM-G980, since the Galaxy S10e came with the model number SM-G970.

There also has been included an image with which we can see that the battery is rated at 14.36Wh. Considering the fact that it goes on to operate at 3.85 volts, the minimum capacity that it would bring with it would be at 3,730mAh. While this does come as typical capacity, somewhere around 3900mAh is also a possibility. Right now, the Galaxy S10e features with a 3,100mAh cell.
With the different shape in the S11e’s battery, a very reliable tipster has also suggested that the smartphone will also have a new motherboard design too. There also are rumors that the Galaxy S11+ may arrive with a battery or 5,000mAh. If true, then this would represent a major upgrade over the 4100mAh battery that currently employs the Galaxy S10+.
