Control Your Sonos Speakers Through the Pandora App

No doubt Pandora’s fine-tuned internet radio playlists and wireless speaker  systems of Sonos should become perfect match, a match that is made in heaven, but it is not perfect until the day we get the two products exactly along.

And taking that necessity in view, now, both the companies are teaming up to bring the best of Pandora to Sonos and vice versa.

Fortunately, here we are with a good news for the people who love to listen music to enjoy the lyrics of each kind and to enjoy their life.

In this week Pandora has announced the new partnership. Pandora has also introduced a handful of new features that are likely to make your life a lot easier.  If you do use the streaming service and own a Sonos speaker you can enjoy the new features introduced by Pandora.

And it will be quite surprising for you to experience doing with Sonos and Pandora.

Once the update does hit, it will  enable you  to manage your Sonos speakers directly from the Pandora app.

And that is not all, with this update not only can you play music from Pandora’s app, but also you can use it to group and ungroup speakers. You can also move the music from one room to another. This update also enables you to up raise or lower down the volume, alongside many other facilities.

That is the way the app should make it easy to enjoy your favorite music without constantly requiring to jump between different apps.

Another interesting thing is that you can also control Pandora on Sonos with your voice using Amazon’s Alexa assistant (assuming that you have the latest Sonos One or your speaker has been connected to another Echo device). Or you could just let a friend take over DJ responsibilities with the Pandora application on their personal phone, as long as they are connected to your Wi-Fi.

As part of the very update, Sonos is also going to add support for Pandora Premium.  Pandora Premium lets you listen to songs and albums on-demand – like on Spotify or Apple Music.

Until now, the company’s speakers has only supported automatically generated Pandora’s radio-style playlists.

That is good news for anyone of you who gives preference to picking each song for themselves, rather than relying on the company’s algorithm that is sometimes-shaky to choose for them.
