Colin Ingram PSL has brought joy and tears to Pakistanis at the same time. Its been a cricketing extravaganza and its been a roller coaster ride of enjoyment and excitement. PSL is now in its 4th season and has captured the attention of some of the greatest players and united them to play under one platform so that the crowd is able to see players from different countries playing together, celebrating together, which is, a joyful sight indeed.

Karachi Kings has been the person on this roller coaster who has felt the greatest of emotions. For the past three seasons, it was Lahore Qalandars who had amazed people with their inconsistency and unpredictability. But this season, that spot belongs to Karachi Kings, who started off well this season with a win over Multan Sultans but thereafter caught the breeze and witnessed defeats consecutively until recently when Colin Ingram, the South African star, showed what they were capable of against Quetta, which had been the formidable team of the season. Karachi Kings romped to victory against Quetta Gladiators, ending their unbeaten run in the 4th edition of Pakistan Super League. This was also Karachi’s highest successful run chase.
COLIN INGRAM MAKES HISTORY IN THE PSL
Colin Ingram’s masterclass with the bat saw Karachi Kings through, registering the team’s second win this season. While chasing 187, he scored his career-best 127* at a strike rate of 215.25. The next highest score by his teammates was 19. It was the fourth century scored in PSL history and the first one by a foreign player. The left-hander’s knock included 8 sixes and 12 fours off just 59 balls. Those tuning in to watch the match were bewildered by how the under performing Kings were able to beat the consistency of Quetta. PSL sure has been blessed with some of the most amazing players!
