Careem Pakistan has introduced a new motorbike service Zoom to provide its customers much cheaper transport solution after its successful integration of mobile-based taxi service in the country.
Though the company has not officially announced this service but the Careem’s mobile app showing a new option – Zoom with the picture of the motorbike is leading us to be hopeful about the motorcycle services of the company.
Careem is not pioneered in providing the motorbike service as we have witnessed Bykea, an on demand ride-hailing and parcel delivery service in Karachi that uses motorbikes for the provision of its services, Couch potato, mobile app based freelance delivery service also focus upon the use of motorbikes.
Careem’s new service is not surprising one as the company is expanding its operations for quite some time. It also introduced rikshaw hailing service, following Uber, last year.
Its services have been launched in Multan, Gujranwala, and Sialkot including a fleet of 25,000 local Taxis in Islamabad & Rawalpindi.
Hopefully, the official announcement of the motorcycle services will be made soon.
