A new leak has now suggested that Vivo is gearing up to launch a new phone – coming in the midrange bracket. The upcoming device is set to be called the Vivo Y3, and has quite the similarities when taking into account both the specs as well as the design with the Vivo Y17.
The Vivo Y3 comes will feature with a 6.35-inch display with a 1544 x 720 display. The screen, being a Halo FullView display, comes with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 along with a waterdrop notch. Under the hood of the device is present MediaTek’sHelio P35 chipset, and this is paired with 4 gigs of RAM and either 64 or 128 gigs of internal storage.

Much like the Y17, the Vivo Y3 too has a triple camera configuration on the back. The triple camera configuration consists of a 13MP sensor, paired with an 8MP super wide-angle camera, along with a 2MP depth camera. Below the sensors is present an LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner can be found right in the middle of the device. This time around though, the 20MP selfie camera is substituted for an 8MP sensor.
To keep the lights running, the Y3 will feature with a 5000mAh battery, and will charge via the MicroUSB port. The phone should also come with the support ofVivo’s very own 18W Dual Engine fast charging technology, with this too being present on the Y17.
The attached render has also revealed that the phone will come with a pink color variant – and this is to be called Peach Powder. The phone’s launch is expected to be later in the month of May, and will probably feature with a $220 price – all in accordance to the source.
