While the OnePlus 7 Pro is not the phone that comes with the very highest of refresh rates, the phone’s launch did make leaps into the progress of the feature – making it more popular than it ever was – evident by the fact that more and more manufacturers have since decided upon jumping the bandwagon. The latest news surrounding the smartphone world stems from officials from both Oppo and Realme announcing that their respective companies are set to launch phones with 90Hz displays in the very near future.
Brian Shen, who happens to be Oppo’s Vice President last week took to Weibo to give some hints about the new feature of a new Reno phone which was believed to be the successor to the Reno 10x zoom.
While the post from the executive missed out on the major details, one would have to imagine that he indeed was referring to a 90Hz screen in the post – when you consider the fact that there were only two dashes that came before the Hz. Pretty much the same logic is applicable to the fast charging technology that the device will feature with. Since there are two dashes – the Reno phone will surely not be featuring with 120W fast charge.

As far as Realme’s case goes – the information is much more specific. Not only will the unnamed phone feature with a 90Hz display, but will also come with a price tag lower than what we had with the OnePlus 7 Pro. The device will also launch sooner rather than later. The speculation currently says that this Realme phone will actually serve as the Pro version for the Realme XT.
In addition to the impressive 90Hz refresh rate, it has been widely reported that the Realme XT will come with a 32MP selfie camera, a 64MP primary rear camera – which will be paired with an 8MP telephoto camera, a 2MP macro lens and another 2MP sensor for making leaps into capturing depth details in the portrait mode. The device is also expected to feature with 30W fast charging, an In-display fingerprint scanner, NFC and also a massive 4000mAh battery.
