So Samsung recently launched their flagship devices and one of their device in tge series the Galaxy S10 has started to face some serious problems, users have already started complaining about a major fault in the new device’s software which is causing their batteries to drain much faster as was expected.
Furthermore, it should be noted that this is their flagship phone of the year and it has only been a couple of weeks since the Korean giants, Samsung launchedtheir flagsjip of the year and a new report shows that this new smartphone has already startef incurring problems which dramatically drains the phone’s battery. One Samsung Galaxy S10 user has taken on the internet an told people on Reddit, that “ I have an S10, and I keep my phone in my pocket with the screen towards my leg (since my leg is far less likely to damage the screen). The only issue with this is that I started feeling the “fingerprint rejected” vibrations while the phone was in my pocket”.

Furthermore this issues also seems create problems for the camera as the bugactivates the camera function which conversely triggers a number of sensors used by the camera app as the phone thinks that it is operating in low-light conditions. This complain was another cause of battery drainage. Another user on Samsung’s US Community Forum cited a complaint that “First thing I did was activate tap to wake, I have never seen this in a Samsung phone before. Now I have the newest that Samsung has to offer and it does not work properly. My leg through my fabric taps the phone and opens it up”, continued the user.
As of now, it seems that the issue is not affecting every user and that this problem has only been found in a few devices, so far though. It shouldalso be noted that the reports about this issue are so far only coming from the users who are based in the US, which basically shows that the problem may only be in that region’s firmware and not in other countries. Samsung should however take responsibilityfor this problem and should hence ensure users that they will fix the issue quickly by using a software update or replacing their devices altogether.
