Earlier, the administration was providing the newly wed couples a narrow window of only 15 minutes to capture their moments. Now with the new decision a complete ban has been imposed by the administration of the historic mosque.
Couples, not from Lahore, but come from other cities as well to record their special moment in life in the backdrop of historic mosque. The photoshoot of any wedding related occasions is now banned in the premises of the mosque.
On the bright side, there are a number of locations in Lahore which now couples can explore to record their special moment of life. The city of Lahore is full of historic places, one can find these places in the walled city of Lahore or any other famous setting could be the one for them.

As of December 19, the wedding photography is completely banned in the premises of the iconic Badshahi Mosque.
Couples were fond of the location because of the ambiance and history. The picture taken at the mosque holds a special memory.
However, there are various other places in Walled City of Lahore including the famous ‘Masjid Wazir Khan’ which is even older than prominent Badshahi mosque. A lot of other places including Shalamar Gardens and old Shahi castle of Lahore is waiting for the couples to take a go at them.
