Google has at last made available the Google Drive companion application, Backup, and Sync, which would be able to backup the whole data on your PCs.
The application was up for some fine tuning after being delayed a month now finally released for Mac and Windows operating systems. As in the past, we reported, the application was planned to be revealed on June 28 but was postponed to today when it has as a final point made to the consumers.
The application, Backup, and Sync, at this time, letting the users pile up all the photos, videos and documents in their exact format to the cloud, so they can restore in future. After the process of download and install, the application replaces the previous Google Drive uploaders (Google Drive and Google Photos). 15GB of data can be used to store for free at the same time as options to purchase extra data are also available in this application.
“Google said in a blog post, Just select the folders you would like to backup, and we’ll take care of the rest”.
The users can bring into play the application to upload the chosen folders on a PC. Once selected, the folders will automatically synchronize with the cloud as quickly as one more file is created and a feasible internet connection is on hand. The synchronization will make certain that you don’t misplace any significant data due to any hard disk associated wrecks and PC breaks down.
At this moment, the application is appropriate for household consumers and business usages alike. A different business-centric application Drive File Stream will formulate its approach to the corporate users that are now on Google Drive G Suite package. This is good news for huge data and information holder as the application will surely help keep large backups.
