Famous folk singer Atta Ullah Essa Khelvi daughter has made a name for herself in Hollywood; following the footsteps of his illustrious father, foreign media outlet reports.
Laraib who is just 19 years old, had started her career as model back in 2006. She appeared in advertisements for George Michael, Rolling Stones and Disney. The young Laraib proved her credentials in Johnny Depp’s Sweeney Todd, 10,000 BC and in the chronicles of Narnia sequels as well.
In an interview to a recent interview with BBC Asian Network she said, “Before I started the course, I had no idea what VFX is. I just knew that this is magic for films. The first time I watched Toy Story, it really inspired me. I was like ‘Wow, how is this done’?”

“I didn’t know back then that I was going to get into visual effects. But that something related to art was in me all this time and technology is what I wanted to do,” she added.
Laraib’s incredible visual work includes blockbusters such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, Godzilla, Gravity, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Trader and Prince Caspian, 10, 000 BC and Johnny Depp’s Sweeney Todd.
