Apple might cut down prices for iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as demand decreases. Either you are an Apple user or not but you must be familiar with the fact that Apple is famous for its high prices but now the tech giant is expected to take a bold step which is not typically practiced by it. Well, price slashes are not frequent in case of Apple. The company just reduces prices for its older iPhones just the once when a new model hits the shelves in September.
But this time, due to the low demand for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus, the Cupertino based tech giant possibly will cut down prices on these devices next year.
As firstly reported by DigiTimes that good news for Apple fans as tech giant is expected to cut down in prices of some devices. Apple might think about reducing prices for its iPhone X, which is facing lesser demand than expected and is not performing as good as predictable by Apple.

On the other hand, rumors suggest that not only the iPhone X but all of Apple’s 2017 iPhones are not making as many sales records as projected, which will eventually result in a price cut down. It is also informed that iPhone 8 and the iPhone8 Plus falls in the equal criteria and are likely to get a price cut.
There is also a confirmation from media outlet that major reason behind drop off sales is that Apple’s 2017 phones were not talented to deliver much in certain regions. Taiwan, Singapore and surprisingly the US are those affected regions which became the cause of decreased sales.
According to the reports for now, initial price cut in the devices will not be sufficient and attractive as it is predicted to be about $50. But, if the sales of the devices will not get better after this price slash, the company may be apply an even bigger price cut.
Although the time frame of price slice is still undisclosed, as rumors hint that it’s going to take place somewhere near March when Apple typically hosts a keynote at WWDC in 2018.
Apart from iPhones, Apple also frequently reveals other products at the event of WWDC. We believe that the company will not get any better time or event to reveal price slash other than at WWDC, as it is a definitely software-centric summit.
