After failing to stay true to their word of launching the Android Pie update back in the month of November, due to undisclosed issues faced by the company, HMD Global has finally released the Android Pie update for its Nokia 8 smartphone. Moreover, the announcement of the update was made yesterday by the Chief Product Officer of HMD Global Mr. JuhoSurvikas.
Now unlike the other Android Pie announcements made by companies for their phones, the Nokia 8 does not get what you would call as an ‘elaborate announcement’. The update is a phased rollout so it may not hit your devices immediately, but for the time being, HMD is just happy that they released the update just in time for the holiday season.

Furthermore, the Android Pie brings with it a new navigation system, an adaptive battery an adaptive brightness. The beta update also came bundled with December’s security patch so we can expect this version to also possess the security patch which has been included. The Nokia 8 was launched back in 2017 as HMD Global’s first flagship smartphone. It has an 5.3 inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 display which is covered in a Gorilla glass 5. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor and a RAM of 4GB/6GB with composite internal memory of 64GB/128GB
