So the Chinese cell-phone company, Huawei are finally making the stable Android Pie update available for the users of the Mate 9. The 2016 flagship was part of the devices confirmed for the beta program a few months ago. Now owners of the device can get their hands on the stable update and install it in their device.
The update comes by the name of EMUI 9.0.1.150 and brings with it tons of new features for the said device, which is set to make a lot of users happy. In addition to the Android Pie’sunique features, the update brings the amazing feature of HiVision which is like Huawei’s take on Google Lens which not only identifies objects or famous monuments but can in turn also identify the number of calories in your food. HiVision also brings with it the feature of real-time translation, all of that will be made possible thanks to the new update.

There is also a feature called the Huawei Share which will allow users access to the one-click wireless printing feature. With just the tap of a button, you can print documents from supported printers without the need of a cable or another device.
The User Interface is also set to give users an amazing experience after it has been updated to modern standards, Huawei main focus is now on the natural elements and sounds that they can provide. There is also a feature similar to Digital Wellbeing which monitors the app usage for the user and it alsoincludes a duration spent viewing notifications and time spent on each app which will provide users with some much needed information regarding the usage of their phone. It can also turn all the colors gray at a preset time to make it easy for you to drop your phone and go to sleep, hence improving the battery life of your phone.

Finally the mentioned update is rolling out only in China as of right now. We believe it will be released for the rest of the world very soon so hold on to your seats.
