Android app to help citizens in case of harassment or accident by Islamabad Police. The ratio of assault, harassment, kidnapping cases is increasing day by day in country. In order to make sure the safety and to protect the citizens’ right an initiative has been taken by Islamabad police.
Recently an Android app has been launched by Islamabad police to facilitate citizens of the country. In case of an emergency or in a state of panic citizens of Islamabad can get the full support and assistance from the department. The app will be greatly helpful for citizens and to provide them instance help.
With various useful features of the app, users can report incidents of harassment, assault and accidents etc. they can also send a picture, video/audio of the incident directly to the police through this app.
Phone numbers of important institutions of the police would also be offered for users in the app. Notifications of the reports and announcements will be also shared on the app by the police stations.

There is also a ‘panic button’ for users in emergency case which facilitates them to alert their predefined contacts or contact Islamabad Police helpline in case of an emergency.
On an interesting note, the app also features a “Services” section, which provides the facility to users of paying their traffic fines, register tenants, verify vehicle numbers, and even access to the website of Islamabad Police.
Moreover, the app has several other menus counting the one with the significant information of the police stations, like their locations using Google Maps, names and contact details of SHO’s, SDPO’s, and SP’s of respective police stations.
In order to motivate young citizens another feature is that, the app lets you become a volunteer by filling an easy and simple form available within the app.
In order to get updates on the city’s traffic and other important news, feature of the live FM Radio is also added in the app.
However, currently the app is in its beta version and is in the process of being tested, that’s why we are not capable to find the name. We will notify you right after the announcement of the name, Google Play Store link or other info about the app. So stay tuned with us.
