The world’s second richest person and co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates had constantly warning about a potential threat to humans’ jobs and why is so that? There is already a huge chunk of people who are jobless and many are struggling in search of jobs. In this situation, the recent statement from Bill Gates is shocking as well as disturbing.
However, the real reason behind this statement by co-founder of Microsoft is the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) which will lead towards a potential threat to human jobs. In upcoming years, the vast applications of AI and AI based machines will replace the human task in every field of life.
Recently , Gates has appeared in an interview and said that artificial intelligence is coming to substitute some jobs, and there isn’t much we can do to prevent it, but he also thinks that ending of all this will be pleasing.
According to Bill Gates, in future AI will take over a lot of jobs and eventually it will be a good thing.
In an interview to Fox Business, tech billionaire and philanthropist said that robots taking over our jobs will make us more efficient and direct to more free time.

According to Gates,
“Well, certainly we can look forward to the idea that vacations will be longer at some point. If we can actually produce twice as much as we make today with less labor, the purpose of humanity is not just to sit behind a counter and sell things, you know?”
On the other hand, Gates also highlighted the detail that AI is already stealing jobs from mostly low-wage workers, and will facilitate us to better handle our time.
At some point I may agree with him. If AI allows us to get in our cars and reply to our emails on our way to work, it would absolutely save our time.
But the deal is not closing here as it also points a threat at the same, as some tech giants are not thinking about its negative perspectives.
Just take the example of Amazon’s cashier-less store which employs AI in order to track what customers are putting in their baskets and it automatically charges them once they leave the store, no checkout required.
Bill Gates believes,
“There will be challenges because the rate of change will be faster in these next 20 years than it’s been before.”
At the same time other tech billionaires like Elon Musk believe that AI will be the terminator for the human race.
