The fact that Google shares bird’s-eye-view images of some our planet’s most stunning landscapes is not breaking news as the search engine giant has been doing this for quite the time now. With that said, the company has once again done its bit by releasing the largest update to its Google Earth View collection with 1000 more images being racked up.
The Google Earth View collection now goes on to boast more than 2500 landscapes from all over the globe while the imagery which has been used subject to being upgraded has been optimized for the higher resolution 4K screens that feature not only with brighter colors, but are more sharper images in general.

These images can be used in a variety of different ways! On Android, they might be useful for you as they might be used as wallpapers, while their application on Chromecast and Google Home might be as screensavers.
The company also has a Chrome extension available for download – which you may use to view all such images.Google Earth product manager in Gopal Shah recently wrote in a post : “Earth View started simply enough – – a curiosity pursued by the curious. Over the decade, that tiny seed sprouted several limbs, and today, this imagery has been seen by millions of people the world over. Earth View has the power to elevate our minds from our tiny screens to outer space – – the landscapes that materialize when you open a new tab or unlock your phone punctuate your day with a global looking glass. My hope then is this funny, little project – – along with Google Earth as a whole – – moves us to care more deeply about this strange but kaleidoscopically beautiful planet.”
