It is a massive achievement for the Government as the 392KM long motorway connecting Sukkur and Multan and all towns, villages and small cities in between. The National Highway Authority announced that the motorway would be open for light traffic as of Friday. This is part of the CPEC project and improves ties between China and Pakistan further.
The motorway consists of six lanes and would be a major upgrade to previous roads that made the travelling between one of the important cities of Pakistan extremely tedious. The time of the travel would also be shortened. This has multiple advantages as it would not only speed up private family travels but also industrial growth would be improved as Multan and Sukkur are important industrial centres for Pakistan and the motorway would be the missing puzzle piece. Not only this, the agricultural growth would be impacted positively through the introduction of the motorway.

The National Highway Authority’s ministry of communications was very proud on the completion of their new project and believe that this would increase awareness of the world of the region and would also be recognized as developed areas where investments and business can grow which was otherwise quite low back in the days when the roads were not accessible and places were difficult to reach thus making a lot of problems for businessmen and investors, a problem which is now rectified!
