So the Oppo’s sub-brand Realme recently just launched its first smartphone, namely the Realme U1 and the the phone was on sale in India for the very first time yesterday, exclusively via the Amazon India. Here is the amazing part though, the phone sold more than 205,400 units of the newly launched Realme U1 in under sex minutes in its first flash sale in India and the company later on also held another flash sale on the same day but the stats of that sale have not been revealed as yet. The new phone is the first Selfie-centric smartphone and is also the world’s first device powered by the MediaTek’s Hello P70 octa-core chipset and the phone has been dubbed by the company as the “India’s Selfie Pro”. The phone comes in three color variants, Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and finally the Fiery Gold. The pricing of the phone starts with the 3GB Ram model which is priced at $170, next is the 4GB model which comes with a price tag of $213. Moreover the company has scheduled the next sale for the said phone to take place on the 12th December at 12:00PM (IST)

Furthermore the Realme U1 comes loaded with a 6.3” Full-HD+ dewdrop display with a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and the screen further offers 450 nits of brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Moreover when it comes to the hardware of the device, the device is powered by a MediaTek’s Hello P70 chipset, which is built with a TSMC using their 12nm FinFET technology and also features a Cortex-A73 and Cortex A53 cores in the same 4+4 arrangement and has a composite ARM Mali-G72 GPU to compliment the phone’s hardware.
Moreover the phone comes with two internal memory variants 32GB and 64GB and you can increase the internal storage to up to 256 GB using a micro-SD card. The phone features two dual cameras on the back (13mp and 2mp secondary sensor) and it comes with a AI photography and an AI Beautigy+ features for enhancing the experience of the photography captured on the phone and the camera further supports Studio Portrait Lightning, Super Vivid 2.0 and an AI Scene Detection and finally a Slow motion video recording feature! And on the front side users will find a 25mp Sony IMX576 sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and features such as the Smarter Groupi for aiding the group selfies that users crave!
