‘1000 likes on FB or I will drop baby ’ : Man locked up for threatening to toss child out of the window
ALGIERS – A guy from Algeria has been punished two years prison for hanging his baby cousin out of a window of 15th-floor to just attract and get likes on Facebook.

The man posted a picture on Facebook by holding the toddler out of the window from the building in the capital Algiers with caption – “1000 likes or I will drop him”.
The child comes into view to be in a state of terror and bafflement.
As reported by BBC News, his cruel behavior surprised and upset social media users and they insisted his arrest for child abuse. The man, who was wrongly supposed to be the father of the child, was charged with cause danger to the baby’s safety. He was in prison on Sunday, According to news site Al Arabiya.
The man who is the relative of the baby deprived of all the claims and said the image is changed by social media users reports Algeria’s privately owned Ennahar TV.
The man explains, “The picture was taken in a terrace with protecting barriers. These were removed.”
The child’s father recommends the court to pardon the man. He said the man was just playing a game. But, the judge ruled against him, saying that the picture was obvious and the child’s life was at risk.
Many Facebook users claimed that the man is undertaken on child abuse charges after watching the video.
